Rouge ou Blanc

Located in the 6th arondissement in Paris. Founded by Enrico Bernardo. Best sommelier of the world 2004. This is still an insider tip. Most people only shop here for wine delights. You find a small number of tables in the well designed wine shop. They have a very good selection of wines. You can purchase a any bottle and enjoy it on the premises. No corkage fee is added to the price of the bottle. Furthermore you can order a small selection of tapas such as nice as duck paté with bread. The interior of the shop is well designed and charming. The have good wine glasses and excellent service and located right in the middle of the 6th. Sipping wonderful wines between fantastic bottles does have its charm. Here everything is about the wine. Good wines with good glasses.
Negative
The shop is smalll limited seating is available and the shop closes a little early at 21:00.
Positive
Good selection of wines
No corkage fee
Excellent central location
Fantastic service
Conclusion
A very nice place to go to enjoy an excellent bottle of wine with good glasses which seems to be a rare commodity in many wine bars in Paris. The design of the shop is stylish and elegant. When in Paris I will be sipping by with pleasure.

Coinstot Vino 84/100 Category Wine Bars
Before I review this wine bar. What is natural wine? People are often puzzled. For that reason I found the description below on Wikipedia. Which nails it pretty well.
Natural wine is wine made without chemical and minimum technological intervention in growing grapes and making them into wine. The term is used to distinguish such wine from organic wine and biodynamic wine because of differences in cellar practices. All natural wines are, however, farmed organically at a minimum and many growers are biodynamic in the vineyard as well.
The bar is in central Paris and was the first wine bar in Paris to focus on natural wine. Honestly I like the thought behind natural wine. This is a great concept. Unfortunately it is often used to sell horrible oenological mutations sold as natural wine. As you can understand I was a little skeptical to say the least. The bar is cozy and basic from a design perspective. The selection of wines on offer is quite large considering they are all natural wines. During the course of the evening I tasted several wines and a lot them confirmed my initial fear. However one wine I quite enjoyed was the 2003 Ch. Meylet. Which was a good wine experience and shows the potential of natural wine. But these wines are not cheap will most likely not appeal to many people from a price perspective. Service is very good. Staff is extremely friendly. I liked the very homey feeling to the location. When you are in PAris you should take a peek here and make a little excursion into the world of natural wines.
Negative
Basic wine glasses
Positive
Great selection of natural wines
Friendly staff
Conclusion
A nice natural wine bar. If you fancy natural wines go and investigate. My personal highight was the wonderful attitude of the team and the service spirit and having tasted the potential of natural wine I can see it has a future. How bright it will be.... will be decided by wine drinkers like you and me around the world.

Le Petit Sommelier de Paris
Score: 98/100 Category Bistro & Brasserie
Before I start. If you love wine, enjoy good food go to the le petit sommelier de paris.
A friend of mine introduced me to this embassy of good taste. It looks like a classic Parisian brasserie. Very quirky and nice. The magic starts the moment you see the wine list. The list is simply perfect. A fantastic selection of wines in all price categories, from all over the world. This is impressive to say the least. Staff are well informed and know a lot about wine. Wines arrive in perfect condition. The only weakness is the glasware. The glasses they use are ok but with such a wonderful winelist it is a shame not to upgrade the glasses. The kitchen offers a list of classics and are very skilled. Great, honest and down to earth fantastic food paired with an amazing selection of wines. LPSdP is a gastronomy wonderland. Did I mention that fantastic wine list?
Negative

Conclusion
One of the best wine lists I have seen. Excellent food and service. This is such a great reference for Paris. 98/100 in the category bistro & brasserie

The Ukraine has a great history and tradition of wine making of over 2500 years. These wines have their own identity and show the potential of Ukranian wines. The Shabo winery has a Swiss historical connection... This part of the world was once colonized by Swiss settlers. From a location perspective Shabo is located on the same lattitude as Bordeaux. With really interesting conditions to make wine. Looking forward to tell and show you as TLTV was there as well. #shabo #wine #ukraine #winelover #traubenliebe #realtasting
