Dark intense aubergine purple. Rich cherries on the nose with violet floral notes of tabacco, spice and ripe berries. Intense with elegant tannins and light acidity. The finish is herbal and has a moderate length. The chew of berry tabacco is light and fabulous This is a lot more fun to drink than you would think. For my taste it could do with more acicity to polarise the fruit and give the wine more personality on the other hand this is a delightful drinkng wine that is extremely accessible and has a wonderful fun personality. I like this Australian and am sure many others will do as well.
